Basic Course In Workplace Safety & Health Management

  • The Basic Occupational Health and Safety Management course is aimed at understanding the systematic management of occupational health and safety. This course is conducted to ensure that KKP managers can achieve the university's objective to provide a safe and conducive workplace.

    The Six Statistical Principles of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 1994 :

    1. Accident prevention is an important aspect of good management and skills.
    2. The management and the workers must work together to ensure that the workplace is free from any accidents.
    3. The involvement of superiors is prioritized in leading the implementation of safety in the workplace.
    4. An occupational health and safety policy should be drawn up and known to all employees at the workplace.
    5. Necessary organizations and resources should be developed and provided to support occupational health and safety.
    6. The best available knowledge and methods to use the six principles above are the basis in the construction and statistics of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 1994.

    With this course, the rate of increase in accidents can be reduced and overcome in the workplace. At the same time, can reduce deaths at work.
