Mechanical Safety Management is implemented to ensure that all machines and machinery are regulated and maintained systematically. This is to ensure that its use is safe and does not cause danger and safety risks to staff, students, visitors or contractors when using the equipment at work. In addition it is a requirement of the Factories and Machinery Act 1967 (Act 139).
