Safety and Health Manager

To ensure the implementation of the cultural program and the effectiveness of compliance with legislation. Each PTj has a Safety and Health Manager. This appointment is for a period of 1 year. The important role of PTj's Health and Safety Manager is to improve the level of occupational safety and health at UniMAP, especially at each PTj in an excellent direction and in line with compliance with related legislation. PTj's KKP Manager is also a KKP Ambassador who represents COSHE to help and ensure that the University can provide a safe and healthy workplace environment for its citizens, including staff, students and those who deal with UniMAP in accordance with UniMAP's Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Policy. Throughout 2022 there have been 23 cases of accidents/dangerous incidents reported through the SHE online system involving 17 cases of victim injury, 6 cases of property damage and 1 case of occupational poisoning.

Responsibility

Become the Secretary of JK KKP PTj

  1. Planning the KKP program calendar
  2. Prepare minutes of JKK meetings
  3. Monitoring KKP Performance at PTj

Helping to advise the Head of Department on the best steps in managing KKP

  1. Provide PPE facilities
  2. Ensuring the function of the KKP committee
  3. Plan to develop safe work procedures
  4. Make a risk assessment

Conduct workplace inspections

  1. Assisted by the staff/community of the KKP PTj committee
  2. Planning the inspection program of PTj's KKP

Assist in reporting and investigating dangerous accidents and occupational diseases

  1. Make reporting through the SHE system
  2. Planning and carrying out accident investigations
  3. Prepare an accident report

Organizing and implementing the KKP program

  1. Planning and implementing campaigns, lectures and publications on the PPE
  2. Plan and implement training for PTj committee members and staff
